Playing horn, especially trombone,
is weird at best. It's not as sexy as saxophone, doesn't have a unique
sound of a trumpet, and to be honest isn't really a necessary piece
for most bands. I've spent over 20 years now playing this instrument.
I've had good days and bad, so bad that I wondered why continue. But
that unique relationship with those 3 pieces of metal is tough to walk
away from. I won't continue to play out in bands, that's coming to
an end very soon, but I hopefully will always play trombone, even if
it's just for me...
